Experience Economy

This is just a fancy way of saying Tourism.

The Harvard Business Journal coined the term “Experience Economy” in 1998 describing in an article how more people are spending their money on experiences instead of commodities.

Novelty > commodities

It is not so much about what we own as it is about what we do, how we do it, how we feel when we do it, and who we get to do it with.

There are so many events, conferences, and happenings all around us. How many of them are peak experiences?

We are exploring this concept deeper and will be looking for ways to pilot and expand.
